+We use your email address to set up and validate your account and to prevent abuse of the platform. Accounts that violate our Terms & Conditions or Privacy Policy, or engage in harassment, discrimination, or illegal conduct may be removed from Polivoz.

+Make sure you have the latest version of Polivoz and go to Profile > Verify account.
What is Video & Voice Verification?

What is Video & Voice Verification?
+Video & Voice Verification is an optional process. Once you successfully complete it, you will receive a badge on your profile to show you passed and you will be eligible for the monthly DOGE giveaway.
With Verification, you can also see whether other profiles have completed the process, helping you make more informed decisions about who you interact with.
How is my Verification information used?

How is my Verification information used?
+Your facial geometry and voice data are used only for Verification purposes. The “selfie” video is not stored and is deleted immediately after the process is completed. The three “selfie” screenshots are used solely to audit and administer this feature.
To perform Verification, we store and use your facial geometry and screenshots in our Google Cloud instances. This information is deleted according to the timeframes described in the relevant section of this page.

What information will you keep after Photo Verification?
+Facial geometry and voice are retained so we can provide the Verification service as you update your photo over time. This data is kept for the life of your account and is deleted within 30 days after closure, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
We also keep three screenshots from the “selfie” process for the life of the account to audit the feature. We keep the outcome of the process (successful or not) until you delete your account or it becomes inactive for one year. We do not store the “selfie” video.

+You may not be able to sign up if you are outside our service areas.
We are currently available in: Azuay, Bolívar, Cañar, Carchi, Chimborazo, Cotopaxi, El Oro, Esmeraldas, Galápagos, Guayas, Imbabura, Loja, Los Ríos, Manabí, Morona Santiago, Napo, Orellana, Pastaza, Pichincha, Santa Elena, Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, Sucumbíos, Tungurahua, and Zamora Chinchipe.
We are actively working to expand into more markets, including Central and South America. Stay tuned for upcoming updates!

Which devices are compatible with Polivoz?
+The latest version of the app works on iOS 9 or later and Android 7.0 (Nougat) or later.
While it may run on iPads or other tablets, they are not officially supported and you may experience issues. For the best experience, we recommend using a supported phone.

+If you witness a crime, are a victim of one, or are in an emergency, call 911 first for immediate assistance.
To share live updates, use the “I want to report…” feature by tapping the pencil icon in the bottom-right corner of the Home screen.
We recommend reporting incidents such as: Accident, Suspicious activity, Disturbances, Drugs, Fire, Complaints, Robbery, Kidnapping, and Others (important information for the community).

Polivoz reviews idea posts periodically to ensure proper use.
How can I reset my password?

How can I reset my password?
+If you forgot your password, follow these steps:
- Open the Polivoz app and tap “I already have an account” to go to Sign In.
- At the bottom, tap “Forgot your password?” to go to email verification.
- Enter your email and tap “Continue”.
- We will show a message indicating that, if your account exists, an email will be sent to reset your password.
- Tap “OK”.
- Check your inbox (including spam/junk) and look for a message from soporte@polivoz.com.
- Open the link provided in the email.
- Enter your new password and tap “Save”.

+Make sure you have the latest version of the app and go to Profile > Delete account.
If you have trouble or prefer to handle the request by email, write to soporte@polivoz.com including your username and the email you used to register.

Is Polivoz a safe social network for minors?
+Polivoz emphasizes the importance of protecting the community from content that glorifies or trivializes sexual exploitation and violence. We act urgently to remove such material.
Sexual exploitation includes a broad range of unacceptable behaviors beyond requesting, exchanging, or distributing material; it includes any sexual content involving minors.
Any threat to distribute intimate images, especially without consent, is a serious violation.
Offering sexual services (prostitution, escorting, sexual massages) and recording or distributing sexual encounters are prohibited. We may escalate matters to the competent authorities when appropriate.
